Ice Cream Social RECAP

Happy Monday My Crafty Friends!

I hope your weekend was a blast.  It's end of month and almost end of summer...with most schools in San Diego starting this week, if they haven't already. =)

THANK YOU ALL that made it out to the Ice Cream Social Idea Book Release Gathering yesterday!  It was a lot of fun and RELAXING!   What a great way to spend my Sunday!  I appreciate that you all were able to make it and enjoy some neopolitan ice cream with crushed oreos, chocolate syrup, and chocolate chip cookies. mmmm. yummy.  By the way, thank you Mary & Mom for bringing the chocolate chip cookies and chocolate syrup!  Perfect mix!

Congratulations to the following for winning a raffle prize:
Barbara and Mary for winning a handcrafted item each.

Here's a picture of the project we did.

I love using the Cricut Art Philosophy for quick 3-D projects.  Like this "Thank You" bag.  It's great for giving chocolates, cookies, gift cards, or even a small gift, like a pair of earrings.

Bag is cut at 6 inches.
Card is 3"x3"

Materials used:
New Color: Saddle Ink Z2171 and Cardstock X5928
                   Sorbet Ink Z2164
                   Clementine Paper Packet X7156B
Pewter Brads from Metal Assortment Z1366
                   Sanding Kit Z1294
                   Sponge Daubers Z726
                   Bone Folder Z1204
                   Piercing Tool Z1114

I don't know about you, but San Diego's heat wave has come back.  It's very hot here (I know we San Diegans should be thankful for our weather), but I could go for another bowl of ice cream. =)

Happy scrappin'!
