Close to My Heart's Series, Clearly the Best, on My Craft Channel Episode 9

OH MY GEEZE!!! If you know me, you know that I am a collector of monogram stamps!!! WAY back when CTMH had their Solo Collection, I HAD to have the entire collection AND I DO =) I attended at least two gatherings, one event and hosted one of my own JUST to complete the Solos Collection. AND NOW, CTMH is offering Monogram Stamps! In my opinion perfect for LOTS of things! Of course, I haven't made anything I have in mind, but in due time! I have at least 4 Monogram Stamps, that of course, I haven't touched yet. BUT Looky here, CTMH has some awesome ideas on how to make use of them.

Avonlea Card Workshop

Good Monday Morning! Yes, I am actually blogging this AM, I have about 20 minutes to get some stuff out to you this fine Sunny San Diego Morning =)

On Friday November 9 from 7pm to 10pm I am having the Avonlea Card Workshop on the Go at my house in National City. If you would like to attend please contact me by November 1 by 8pm PST. The fee for this workshop is $41 (with tax, S&H) and is due at the time of reservation, unless prior arrangements have been made.

In this awesome KIT, you will receive instructions, embellishments, the Avonlea B&T paper and coordinating cardstock, cards with envelopes, and the Avonlea limited edition WOTG My Acrylix Stamp set.

I will pre-cut all papers for you, provide the ink, blocks and adhesives.

This workshop will take approximately 2 hours. Feel free to bring adhesive if you prefer a certain type, invite a friend to rsvp with you, or bring any scrapbooking tools you'd like to add to this project.

Close to My Heart's Series, Clearly the Best, on My Craft Channel Episode 8

Oh my gosh! What a great technique! To separate words on a stamp I do it the old school way, which can also be messy. I usual stamp the entire image then I use baby wipes (kinda a no-no) to remove the ink. But in this case, they used sticky notes!

I also love the the other technique in this episode because it's almost like stenciling. My husband and my brother does stencil work. But of course, their process is a lot longer and intricate.

Well, as promised I'm here on a Friday. Not sure if I'll get a lot of artwork done because I'm still babysitting Mai Sweet Love. I'm still working on handling all of the above.

I love using daubers. Always make me feel like a painter, a messy one at that. :) But, not this technique! It's a really cool one that I tried to do before, but I always forget how to do it. I hope you enjoyed this episode and will try it soon!
